Do you remember when you were a child and your mother told you to not touch the hot stove? Your mother or father played a great role inmaking sure you were safe or not. Well much like teaching you not to touch the hot stove, children’s church workers get the opportunity to teachchildren about the basics of life when it comes to spiritual matters. What is a Bible? Why do I have to share? Say thank you after you get a snack. Does Jesus love me? How do I pray? Some of the basic questions about the Christian Faith are taught in Children’s Church. So while it may look like a baby sitting service to some people, it is so much more. According to the Barna Research group, a child will form his or her worldview for the rest of his or her life by the age of 13. The Father’s House serves children from the infant stage through sixth grade. We want to partner alongside the parents to provide a biblical worldview for each child’s foundation. We currently service between 60 to 80 youth. We have many ways that you can get involved as a volunteer. Whether you are great with serving snacks or you love to play games, we have a place where you can serve in any age range.
Vision Statment
To provide a safe and fun environment where children can be taught the ways of God and grow in their personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
MI S S ION:
• Help children grow and develop in Godly character.
• Teach children how to be morally respectable and responsible people.
• Train youth who will influence their friends and family to become more Christ-like.
Quick Reminders:
• Parents please pick your children up from children’s church immediately following service.
• Please make sure we have your child’s correct birthday on file.
• Please sign your children in and out of children’s church. We want the safest environment for you and your child.
Then he said to them..
“Anyone who welcomes a little child like this on my behalf welcomes me,
and anyone who welcomes me also welcomes my Father who sent me.
Whoever is the least among you is the greatest.”
Luke 9:48
